“I HEAR THE SOUND”

Someone once said, ....... “I sense the Holy Spirit calling forth accountability and order in the House of the Lord.” This bespeaks exactly where we are at this time in EFM! 1 Tim 4:1-2 (NKJV) NOW THE SPIRIT EXPRESSLY SAYS THAT IN LATTER TIMES SOME WILL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEED TO DECEIVING SPIRITS AND DOCTRINES OF DEMONS, 2 SPEAKING LIES IN HYPOCRISY, HAVING THEIR OWN CONSCIENCE SEARED WITH A HOT IRON,

Isn't it interesting that when one is caught in a bind...and that 'one' happens to be spirit-filled, he or she finds it incumbent upon himself to 'explain' his actions by saying, "The Lord 'told' me to!

I believe it is often a cop-out to rest your actions on having heard the voice of Almighty God. Though I believe God speaks very clearly to us on a moment by moment basis, oftentimes it is our own inner voice we adhere to or the voice of a deceiving spirit.................... That is the main reason Pastor Randy and I have always instructed you to preface your words - when you are about to speak into someone’s life - with “I BELIEVE I HEARD THE LORD SAY”. That actually gives you a cushion, if you will, to speak into some’s life WITHOUT being abrupt. Unless you are absolutely sure - without ANY doubt - you had better introduce your speech through a veil, or ‘covering’ so that you will not be held accountable to our Lord God for infusing your language with a prophetic word that is NOT authentic. When you speak into someone’s life - and you say, “The Lord says....” It MUST be totally from the Throne-Room, or YOU will stand before Almighty God as a liar!

It is also important to make sure you have a witness standing with you as you speak into someone’s life! In this way, you will have proof of your spoken word.

.............In these important, trying days, it may be easier than one would normally suppose to 'hear' the wrong voice! This is why it is a good and a “God” thing to hear your shepherd’s voice before embarking on a journey that God is NOT leading you on!

Protocol may be defined as “a code of correct conduct”. We already know that, here. In Eagles Flight Ministries we have learned that the local church is the microcosm (a thing captured in miniature the characteristics of something much larger) of the universal Body of Christ. It is a seed pre-programmed to extend the borders of God’s ever increasing Kingdom throughout the earth.

We cannot have division in the body and continue to maintain the proper place in the community and the Kingdom of God. That’s why we have always had continuing education regarding “protocol”. Many pastors are perplexed and discouraged when they select elders, teachers and other leaders who divide the loyalty of the sheep of their flock. How does a pastor protect the flock from wolves who wear the clothing of a shepherd? Acts 20:28 (NKJV) "THEREFORE TAKE HEED TO YOURSELVES AND TO ALL THE FLOCK, AMONG WHICH THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS MADE YOU OVERSEERS, TO SHEPHERD THE CHURCH OF GOD WHICH HE PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD.

The Pastor must transfer his spirit to prospective leaders. He must have those following him, bearing his armor, listening to his ‘heart-beat’, if you will. In mentoring disciples this way, the effectiveness of the ministry we’ve been called to will explode throughout the world. There will be no borders - except those we erect to tell Satan and his hordes when and where to back off!

Let me give you a “FOR INSTANCE” in transference. Lev 16:20-22 (NCV) "WHEN AARON HAS FINISHED MAKING THE MOST HOLY PLACE, THE MEETING TENT, AND THE ALTAR READY FOR SERVICE TO THE LORD, HE WILL OFFER THE LIVING GOAT. 21 HE WILL PUT BOTH HIS HANDS ON THE HEAD OF THE LIVING GOAT, AND HE WILL CONFESS OVER IT ALL THE SINS AND CRIMES OF ISRAEL. IN THIS WAY AARON WILL PUT THE PEOPLE'S SINS ON THE GOAT'S HEAD. THEN HE WILL SEND THE GOAT AWAY INTO THE DESERT, AND A MAN WHO HAS BEEN APPOINTED WILL LEAD THE GOAT AWAY. 22 SO THE GOAT WILL CARRY ON ITSELF ALL THE PEOPLE'S SINS TO A LONELY PLACE IN THE DESERT. THE MAN WHO LEADS THE GOAT WILL LET IT LOOSE THERE.

The laying on of hands can impart blessing, anointing, healing, and spiritual gifts. However, the laying on of hands can also impart sin, curses, and bondage or a wrong spirit.

Many sheep have not stood under the anointing of their shepherd. Instead, they wander as a nomad from one church to another. Instead of learning in the House of God the Lord planted them in, they suffer tremendously because they receive telephone, parking lot, and bathroom prophecies without the scrutiny of their elders or the pastor. DO NOT BE DECEIVED! THE LAYING ON OF HANDS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. In the 9th chapter of Acts we find the story of Ananias who laid his hands on Saul to impart the Holy Spirit to him. In Romans 1:11-12, Paul talks about his eagerness to come impart spiritual gifts to them for the purpose of establishing them in faith.

In 1 Timothy 5:22 Paul indicates that when you lay hands on an individual whose lifestyle depicts sin, you (and your ministry) identify with that sin! 1 Tim 6:1 (NKJV) LET AS MANY BONDSERVANTS AS ARE UNDER THE YOKE COUNT THEIR OWN MASTERS WORTHY OF ALL HONOR, SO THAT THE NAME OF GOD AND HIS DOCTRINE MAY NOT BE BLASPHEMED. Not only does the Bible teach that we are to be in submission to our leaders, it also says we are to TEACH OTHERS and encourage them to do the same thing!

And we have ALWAYS been instructed - in this ministry - to stand with those who need prayer, uphold them as they stand at the alter for ministry. HOWEVER - we have also been instructed to NEVER “lay hands” or TOUCH someone as they’re being prayed for UNLESS we are specifically given direction to do so by our leader!

THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPERATIVE TO TRAIN YOU IN SPIRITUAL PROTOCOL. And ESPECIALLY AS WE EMBARK ON JOURNEYS INTO OTHER COUNTRIES!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Our church missionaries (which ALL of us are!) must be aware of ‘spirits’ that are resident in areas we minister in.

2. We must repent for not allowing our leaders to instruct us and THEN follow that instruction.

3. We must drive off strongholds and every demonic activity that holds positions of authority in the arena we have been commissioned to minister in.

4. We must lay down our agendas and pick up the agenda of the man of God in this place.

5. We must follow the protocol that is set in place here!

Why? Because we have:

ONE DRUM - ONE SOUND!
