Closing Out Closure

We have been considering the word CLOSURE which means, an act or process of closing. Last week here were the main points I shared with you:

1. DO NOT TAKE ANOTHER MAN’S VISION - birth your own Luke 16:12 NKJV - "And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own?

2. DO NOT LET YOUR DREAM GET IN THE WAY OF GOD’S VISION. Often people have stated they are seeking to do the PERFECT WILL of God when all along, they are seeking for their own agenda.

3. UNLESS YOU HAVE A HOLY SPIRIT FOUNDATION, YOU WILL NOT HAVE AN IDENTITY You have an identity - Have you discovered what it is yet?

4. “IT DOESN’T TAKE 1 TRIBE TO MAKE ISRAEL - IT TAKES ALL 12 TRIBES.” We need each other.

5. THE REVIVAL/RENEWAL MOVEMENT CALLS FOR YOU NOT TO LEAN TO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. Considering God with your own understanding will stop the move of God.

FIRST - The key ingredient for revival concerns the church:

THE CHURCH MUST ALLOW GOD TO BE RELEASED IN ORDER TO MOVE INTO HIGHER REALMS OF GLORY. We must desire God above all else Matthew 22:37 NKJV - Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.')

Matthew 6: 33 NKJV - "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. This means returning to your first love.

SECOND - The second aspect concerning revival which is of utmost importance deals with the time frame of revival:

THE TIME FRAME FOR REVIVAL IS IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR DARKEST HOUR. You are literally being set up for revival and a move of God when all appears to be lost.

THIRD - The third element which is necessary for the move of God actually pertains to the first element:

WE MUST BE PREPARING OURSELVES AS THE SPOTLESS BRIDE. There is a hunger for God which comes over a body so much it causes everyone to bow before the Lord and ask for the cleansing of one’s heart. Here I am reminded of how we act sometimes. The Lord has been bringing this scripture to my mind recently so I want us all to view it and consider what He is speaking to us.

Revelation 2:1-7 NKJV

1 "To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

2 "I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;

3 "and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary.

4 "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

5 "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place; unless you repent.

6 "But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."'

Psalms 16:1-2 NKJV

1 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.

2 O my soul, you have said to the LORD, "You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You."

Psalms 16:8 NKJV - I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

Psalms 16:11 NKJV - You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalms 17:1 NKJV - Hear a just cause, O LORD, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.

Psalms 17:3 NKJV - You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Psalms 17:6-9 NKJV

6 I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.

7 Show Your marvelous loving-kindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.

8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

9 From the wicked who oppress me, From my deadly enemies who surround me.

Psalms 17:15 NKJV - As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.

Psalms 18:3 NKJV - I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Close the door/doors on things of the past - things which will hold you in bondage or hold you down. Bring CLOSURE to everything which is displeasing to God.
