Hearing and Acting on the Word of the Lord
SEVERAL THINGS ARE TRANSPIRING IN BOTH THE SPIRITUAL AND IN THE NATURAL REALM
God’s presence is desiring to invade our lives in a new and powerful dimension
A. Many of you are experiencing a newness in your life regarding spiritual things. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
B. Many of you have been experiencing an awakening of an anointing which was not there before. You began to sound different when you spoke - prayed - praised. The anointing came.
C. Many of you are stepping out into a place where you see the Lord moving on your behalf. I’m not willing any longer to “wait for my ship to come in.” I’ve gotten a boat and I’m rowing out to find the ship. God said it was there. Didn’t He promise you it was there. Get up and go get it.
D. Matthew 6:33-34 NKJV - This is becoming a reality for men and women.
33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
True and genuine repentance is coming to the Church
A. Repentance means remorse or contrition for past conduct or sin.
B. God is calling many to the examination of their own heart. Today we are seeing our own heart. We are not acting judgmental any longer. We are finding as we view our heart, it humbles us.
C. Our sorrow is now Godly sorrow and repentance. It is not just lip service.
He is going to bring His people into awe and wonder and worship
A. Your Divine Destiny will cause you to stand and behold His glory
B. We are not being led away from the Lord. We are not being separated from the Lord. We are being drawn closer to the Lord. We are being set before His presence.
C. God is working in and through those who are open to hear their Master.
Get ready for God’s floodgates to open
MONEY - Those with PAST financial problems who have been faithful to tithe where they have been being fed will receive God’s blessings. Malachi 3:10 NKJV - Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
HEALTH - Let your health be REDEEMED - “I’ve been redeemed, by the blood of the Lamb. Sickness and pain, have no dominion over me.”
FAVOR - God can give you favor
Genesis 39:21 NKJV - But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
Exodus 3:21 NKJV - "And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.
Exodus 11:3 NKJV - And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants and in the sight of the people.
Psalms 30:5 NKJV - For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
To achieve what God has for us, we must learn His ways step-by-step. Looking back into the Sermon on the Mount, we see in Matthew 6 several things which are foundational things for learning the ways of the Lord.
Matthew 6:1-8 NKJV
1 "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2 "Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
3 "But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 "that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
5 "And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
6 "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
7 "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8 "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
